I read some articles on the internet, did some mods on the phones, created dial up connections on the laptop and BAM! Works like a champ. dont expect broadband speeds, its just like an old time dial-up, but it saves my life all the time on the street, on the car, anywhere I want to check an email, pay a bill etc. Anyone doing that?
