Do I have Sprint coverage?

Well, the maps at sprint.com show an array of maps for coverage in my area. I'm in St. Clairsville, OH...zipcode 43950. The powersource maps show both sprint and nextel coverage, and the power vision shows great coverage on the increased download speeds. Sounds great so far, but when zooming in, it shows the 120 day coverage with the striped area. Is it safe to say that the coverage is there, or should I call and ask what the case may be?

If anyone can help determine if the Sprint coverage with EVDO is already there, it is appreciated. Thanks.

Looks good for both voice and data on Sprint and Nextel. Looks like you are in an affiliate market though, I'm not sure how that will affect plans and pricing.

Based on your zip code of 43950, you do not reside in the Sprint Nationwide PCS(CDMA) network therefore would not be allowed to sign up for one of the Sprint roaming included plans. Hopefully one day, Sprint will buy the CDMA wireless carrier there in St. Clairsville.

Sprint is currently in the process of putting towers there. EVDO maps show coverage so it may be up.

I just wonder if the EVDO map is accurate, or if a Sprint store can tell me one way or another if the coverage actually exists yet. I would think there is a way a corp store has some sort of map of their own.

there is an evdo tower, it is located 2 miles east of St. Clairsville just east of the I-70, I-470 split (right b4 exit 220). there is an upcoming evdo site the will be placed about 2 miles west of St. Clairsville between exits 213 and 215. hope that helps 🙂

and for you corporate stores that are wondering where i got that from, if you have e-ticket open it up, go to resource links, then network tool. you can put in a zip code anywhere in the US and it will take you to that location. it lets you know of towers currently there and future sites (evdo or regular). it also tell you certain statistics of a tower that you click on.
