That was a lot of B.S.
It still doesn't answer the question. They have sold millions og Galaxy S and we can not get a freaking update.

No its more like downloading a couple files and clicking run. If you don't want to root your phone then dont and be happy with what you have.

I am happy. It's the "letter" that is bull. I still don't see the big deal over 2.2 over 2.1 I love the phone like it is. I came over from BB so this is a big upgrade to already.

Once you use 2.2 over 2.1 you will see its a HUGE difference, its like 2.1 was to 1.6

umm no it's not. you still have to pay for the paid apps. android as far as I can tell is still somewhat open source, i told myself i would not root after my experience jailbreaking. Rooting is different. Here's some reasons

faster, and much better battery life.
i went from 6-hrs day usage to about 8-12 hrs.
