Other than outdated discontinued phones, Page Plus has excellent service and plans.
This new one won't catch on very quickly but is a great option for the type of caller it is meant for.

They use Verizon's Network. It is an excellent prepaid service. I like having my 8 year old daughter's LG Migo activated for emergencies. $10/100 mins... every 4 months to keep it on.

You don't have to use their phones. Pretty much any Verizon phone and Alltel phone can be used on Page Plus except for Blackberry's.

That used to be the case. They stopped permitting the use of Verizon phones. Even though the phones are previously from Verizon, they have to be completely "flashed" to their software first.
