AT&T to Deploy LTE by Mid-2011

How about instead of all that money for new stuff, they use it to fix the towers that are having issues with dropped calls and no service at all, 3-4-5 months go by and still no service and all we ever hear is, everythig is fine, no issues at all dont know why you have no service, here buy this and this and this...

Maybe if you'd read some of the previous articles about AT&T you'd know that there's a pretty big chunk of cash being put into the network this year? Most of the improvements are going to be in by the end of the year, but there's still some stuff that's going out till like march 2011 that should finalize everything.

I seem to be the only one who doesn't complain of dropped calls with ATT. (While I was with them, Cingular/ATT 8yrs) Verizon 6 months.

I don't have any issue with dropped calls with AT&T. I know of a few bad spots but they've been fixed within the past 6 months (AT&T actually notified me via the iPhone app.)

No, you're not the only one....I have used my at&t phone in something like 30 different states, and the total number of dropped calls I have experienced which were the result of a poor network connection and not due to my own stupidity (e.g. accidentally hanging up) can be counted on one hand...

Huh? What do you call upgrading to LTE if not 'spending money to improve the network?' this complaint doesn't make any sense
