"Sorry guys, we f-ed up again, even after we knew the previous iPhones all had terrible reception too. Please buy one of our overpriced rubber cases or grip the phone with two fingers while avoiding the entire metal band. We thank you for buying our overrated and underwhelming product."

I almost made the mistake and bought an iPhone 4, thank you AT&T for delaying my order and allowing me to cancel. Sorry BlackBerry for ever thinking of switching, I claim temporary insanity. I will be sporting the new BlackBerry 9800 when it releases. BlackBerry not only will have Adobe Flash, but it will be integrated throughout the device. It also has a rock solid Goggle voice app and also BitBop is no longer beta. Don't sleep on BlackBerry, they are not done by a long shot. No restrictions like Apple. Great partnerships with Google and Adobe and others, and they have the best OS hands down.

agreed. i watched several youtube videos on this issue last night and canceled my pre-order from best buy. glad i did it. apple is showing its arrogance by simply telling us how to hold the phone properly instead of offering a real solution. this is a major design oversight (steve jobs called it "brilliant engineering" at the wwdc). when i'm on a call, i shouldn't have to be hyper-conscious of where my fingers are in case the signal strength weakens. we'll see in the coming weeks how much of a burden this becomes. i'm curious to see how many people return their iphones.
