Palm may end up getting bought out- but it isn't going to be that big of a deal. The WebOS will still be there. In fact, I'd bet the name palm will survive as well. There will be different people wearing the suits at the headquarters, but the work they've done isn't going to just disappear.

In my opinion, WebOS is by far the most FUN operating system out there.
I know that sounds silly, but I smile every time I toss an app up off the screen to close it! And everyone could probably use more smiles in their average day.
Plus, it actually, really multi-tasks better than anything else I've seen.
