The first WiMAX phone will be the HTC Supersonic. Forgive me for not knowing, but is that an Android device? (I assume it is)

So Jason, what are your feelings about the HD2/
Supersonics 4.3in screen?

Me being a bored a$$ security guard I do browse the web a whole lot on my phone, but it still is a "phone" I wonder what it's like holding something up to my face that has a 4.3in screen for a 45m-1hr+ phone conversation.

my Droid is the perfect size for me. I tried the imagio (not a full 4.3 screen, but still big) and it was way too large for my face. the battery on it was also horrible.

Bigger screens are nice, but how it feels in your hand is everything (and against your face)

WHat I really want is for them to "legalize" (aka, endorse and make an app for) a way for me to take an android tablet (Dell mini5 archos7) and tether it to my phone for data browsing. for long term. but honestly for most reading the 3.7 is fine. (remember that the phone has very dense pixels, so stuff is very clear on the screen)

What you want to do with the Dell Mini, can't that be done with the Vzn MiFi?

I wonder how I'm going to like Vzn's Rev.A compared to ATTs HSPA, hmm.

Damn only !!$25!! for the Droid what a fk'n AWESOME deal! Of coursd Vzn's gonng charge me for activation!
Hmm, I wonder if theres any way I could give you my Droid's ESN# and maybe you could activate it for me?

Another Droid?: When your Droid is charging, does it ever stop charging and then start, stop and then start? My stupid N95 does that. I don't think it's the phone that's @ fault I think it's the charger.

Also, might you know if there is a Chase banking app?

"The Dark Side": I was just on the phone with my oldest sister and told her that I'm going over to "The Dark Side" and guess what, she knew I was referring to Vzn!!! My sisters family is a Vzn household

My brother-in-law said "Good AT&T sucks" I was like whatever he's just brainwashed by those "network" advertisments.

I dont't need some MS Office Suite, just a .pdf reader that's all.

Ah, if it comes to it I can always just go to Chase's website, whatever.

I've got a really bad feeling I'm not going to keep my current #. Even though I live in Las Vegas (Area Code 702) I have a Ct ph # (Area Code 203) and I have an address in my hometown that I'm using as my billing address. And it's very, very sentimental to me having a Ct ph#.

I'm trying to figure out a way to keep it, but Amz & Vzn requires my DL# when signing up, which is obviously Lv, Nv.

Damn! I don't want to lose my Ct #! ! ! !

Might you have ?any? ideas??? Maybe after signing up w/Vzn I can do a "relocation"?

Hmm, I thought that theres a law that your area code has to match your DL (in my case 702).

Are you saying that even though I'm getting my ph from Amz, using the ID# on my Nv DL that I can still use my 203 #, the same one I currently have?

Hi Jay, The answer to your question is indeed one of choice. My Wife chose the Palm Pre due to its small compact size. I love my Touch Pro 2 for the larger screen and awesome keyboard. It is amazing how history repeats itself. The industry starts with phones the size of backpacks and condenses into small slim sized little rectangles. Now larger screens are becoming popular, so size increases. 😁

For me, I think the 4.3in screen is probably the largest I would tolerate. Anything larger is just ridiculous. I think the key is in the very thin form factor and wait ratio. No thicker than the iphone and it is light for the size. So I think iy will feel smaller than it appears. The Supersonic is my next device for sure. I love Sprint, HTC, And...

I've got some big news that might surprise you. I'm going over to the dark side (Vzn). The Droid is !!ONLY!! $25 om Amz's website! ! !

Oooh yeah! I'm gonna be an Androider! ! ! !

I'm just trying to transfer my mothers line (ATT) to my sisters line also ATT.

I've been using a Nokia N95 since Dec 2007. And now it's March 2010 and I want me some *NEW* tech! ! ! A smartphone with slideout keyboard, nice 3.7in capacite touchscreen, and cool Android apps!!!

You have made a great decision. I was wondering when you were going to make the move. As long as I have been on PS, you have had issues with ATT's outlook on things. To make a point, it is sometimes necessary to make a stand. VZW is a good company. I have family that works for VZW. Out of the two(ATT and VZW), VZW in my opinion, is the better choice. You will experience better call quality and less dropped calls. Customer service will be noticeably better. Their will be very few sacrifices on your side. I wish you well. I chose Sprint for the economical aspects and what they offer for the dollar. I have nothing but praise for their latest accomplishments. I do not travel to obscure areas so Sprint serves me very well where ever I go. I expe...
