What do you think the result will be??????
Because here is what I think will happen...They will give an accessory for X% off or a onetime 10 to 15 dollar credit. I used to work for a wireless company that had a Class Action Lawsuit filed against it for "over charging" for minutes. What do you guys think will come of this.

The result has already come, its called enhanced multimedia phones and the $9.99 data package. You cant complain about a $1.99 charge if youre paying a $9.99 charge that comes along with your device selection. And other carrieers are following suit but noone is noticing. And it wasnt verizon that started it. just noone noticed it when another carrier made an all inclusive plan without a minutes only plan about 2 years ago. Verizon could have just raised all their plans by $10.00 but instead they disclosed everything , thus theyre the devil

Correct me if I am wrong, but T-mobile and sprint dont have mid level devices that require a mid-level data plan. Or i guess they dont matter because they aren't big enough or are losing customers..... 🙄

if the FCC pushes too hard?
Customer goes to sign up for a phone. They are asked about data. They either choose a plan or have it blocked. Period.

This is how it should be with all carriers, so you don't run into having to "prove" the usage, or validate charges. Unfortunately, the companies make so much money on casual usage that it is worth it to them to deal with a few "disgruntled" customers.

actually.. judging by how Verizon and ATT both require data on more phones now.. I'm betting the opposite is true.
