Cool, but may be a bit confusing...

Back when I worked for Sprint, there was one thing I loved about my store and that was we only sold Boost. We were still a corporate store, but we just didn't get Virgin Mobile phones in. But the one thing I hated about Sprint was the difference in technology and dealing with Sprint phones and Nextel. Prepaid was one of the easy parts, but it looks like ALL Sprint stores will now have Virgin Mobile. More confusion in plans and technology...oh well.

What's cool is that Sprint will up their subscriber list.

Do Boost & Virgin customers count as part of Sprints total customer base?

This may be a stupid question, but even though VM and Boost are part of Sprint, post-paid customers don't get mobile-mobile with VM and boost right?

the 49.1 million is including boost, not virgin mobile. After the acquisition tack on another 5 million please.

Funny thing. Me and a co-worker was talking about how for Boost(& VM I think-haven't sold any since Boost $50 unlimited plan started) we only get paid 1/2 an activation. I wonder how we will get paid for VM now:$.025. 😛

It all depends on how you count it.

If you only count retail customers, then Virgin customers did not count as part of Sprint, but will after this transaction.

If you include wholesale customers, then Virgin always counted toward Sprint's total, so that number won't change.

It wont be confusing, c'mon these people are not stupid hence thats why they get paid the big bucks and you get paid small bucks.

They will not start integrating until they have re-done everything plus the document says it will keep them as a separate company.

but if they were to integrate the companies they will unify the billing platform and consolidate the price plans and make it to where Mobile to Mobile would be included with the sprint, boost, and Nextel.

Hehe...you are so right...Sprint Nextel is a greater mind than my own...I just hope this goes as smoothly as the Sprint/Nextel merger...

🤣

Yeah I think they learned a lot from that acquisition, so they'd be stupid to make the same mistake twice.
