No more gossip, no more speculation, no more maybe this or maybe that! ! ! Only reality!
AT&T is the 3rd wireless carrier in the U.S. to get a real camera phone, Tmo has 2, and Verizon has 1, now all that's left to get a real camera phone is Sprint.
Now to all you ATT employees who claim there is no demand for high-end camera phones. I'm not saying there is, and I'm not saying there isn't, I'm just saying that you can't say either way unless ATT TRIES to offer one and see how it turns out. NOW you will find out what demand there is.

I am with you bro. Up until recently, battery life for phones was bad enough with cameras. MegaPix on phones even worse. I personally have been very happy with the 3.2mp with flash but battery life is breached considerably. I still question the battery life with megapixel camera phones of this magnatude. Autofocus and Xenon flashes are energy hogs. But it is still cool nonetheless.

I have had the N95 for 19 months, though the flash is LED and not Xenon, I think web browsing with 3G takes more battery than taking lots of pix. But yeah, in general, cell phone batteries do still have a long, long ways to go!
So Slammer, I know your a WinMo person, do you intend on buying Touch Pro 2 when it comes out? It has a nice big screen!

Some of my job requires taking pics of displays and some being under counters or dark corners. Then I need to send them off to the main office Via Email. Since the Touch Pro 2 appears to be lacking a flash, I will have to pass on it. I simply need a flash. Besides that, I can't justify megapixel cameras without flashes. It makes no sense(especially if it's above 2MP).
It will be a shame to have to pass on the device.

Yeah, I noticed that also. It's a shame HTC missed that. And it won't be til next yr that the follow up to the Touch Pro2 will have a reall 3.5mm headphone jack, I read an article over at Engadget Mobile that said mos of HTC's smartphones will begin having 3.5mm headphone jacks.

I like the fact that it has a scratch-resistant screen.
Pretty cool stuff

HTC is a premier device that has tremendous amount of power in the palm of ones hand. It is no secret that it is my weapon of choice. It has primarily been a business oriented device. But I wish more would appreciate the raw power HTC offers extendedly. I think a 3.5mm jack is certainly a plus in their upcoming devices and Andriod will help as well. They truly know how to build a solid phone.
