This is a corporate aimed device. Sure, phone capabilities are important, but my company communicates more by txt and email than phone conversations. I'm sure this is true in other companies as well. Plus there are going to be small startups and mid level companies that will see the value in this device because they don't have to pay to use Blackberries BES. Since DLNR became available on Android devices, i've seen a lot of companies relax their requirements on smartphones/pda's and even make the move AWAY from Blackberry so they can reduce overhead.

Another note, there is a good chance that the reviewers of this site are a little bit more hyper-critical than the general public might be. If i was faced with the task of reviewing several quite decent phones a month, i would have to start being hyper-critical too!
And another thing. How many phones does the reviewer get to test out? if the number is one, there is a small chance that the Reviewer simply got a phone that was made on a Friday and isn't a true representation. I wouldn't think that this is the case, but stranger things have happened.
