Did you ever consider it was because everything else Sprint is doing isn't working? And they need investment money from somewhere when you're losing revenue and subscribers at the rate they are. If they went LTE they wouldn't be doing anything different than the guys that are kicking their ass. So going WiMax and inviting in other partners is the only way to survive. But will it also create havoc having too many chiefs in the deal?

Exactly if you have sprint and are interested in wimo good for you. i just know sprint sucks and they keep losing millions of customers and cant even manage to get their pay roll done correctly. plus the the devices coming down the pipe will be for LTE, sprint will have to pay up the ass for wimo and which customers are going to buy it at the rate they're losing them...they're all porting to att and verizon.

everyone i know bad mouths sprint and their glorious new ceo think doing black and white commercials starring dum ...

I would not be so forward to degrade this technology nor Dan Hesse as of yet. To base judgement on the said subjects at this juncture would only render a conjectured statement. Dan did well for ATT and has received great respect for his accomplishments. And then there is Craig Mcgraw who pioneered the cellular technology. He is at the helm of Clearwire. This is then further enhanced by the fact that some of the biggest names in business are fronting cash for this to get moving. This is huge no matter how you look at it or if Sprint has failed or not. The bottom line is that WiMAX is going to happen and names like Google are not going to sit back and let their investment take a fall. I am also quite sure they as well as the others would have ...

Myself and my business customers have dealt with Sprint this year and both agree this is not an appropriate assessment.

Sprint is not for everyone. But neither is Verizon or ATT. It is strictly choice of what works better for them. Sprint is in the main areas we conduct business and their pricing is second to none. We have found this satifactory in our expectations and have experienced only few minor issues that were quickly resolved. Nothing out of the ordinary of other carriers.

I respect that but i think you're a little blinded do to working for the company. people are having terrible experiences with sprint and your remarks show that you are in denial about their real predicament. but go wimo

well see how this all plays out but one thing is for certain sprint better have one hell of an 09 year, or it's over for them!

I understand the demographics in the losses and am not ignoring it. Fortunately we study and find the losses are on the Nextel side which does not directly effect the service on the Sprint side. The Nextel division was experiencing a great deal of bleeding. It is beginning to slow thankfully. But soon there will be no Nextel anyway. Sprint was on top not to long ago and if this merge is what it takes to make a complete resurrection in notority of the service they were known for, then lets let it happen. We all want the best possible solution for wireless providers and I could find flaws in all the carriers including Sprint. I have elected to not include numerous conversations that I have had with Prominent Reps of other carriers as it would ...

Does it really matter in the end where they get their money? The companies fronting the money are huge names and will be watching their investments. Be careful on your judgements. As I stated in another post; This is huge no matter how you look at it. If everyone wants to wait for LTE, that is their business. We are not. That would be like staying with 2G even though 3G is available. Until LTE becomes reality, our company is going to use WiMAX!

My point is, Sprint is the only one flailing which creates opportunity for other businesses wanting in on a wireless network. The other wireless companies are succeeding and feel no need to open up their system to outside entities. Sprint has to cons...

Your point is not ignored but the real point is that companies do this all the time and Alltel for example has Verizon taking over what was a very formidable company. Does that make Alltel a horrible Company? They had some of the best customer satifaction ratings in the biz. If having these companies to potentially turn Sprint around, what would be so horrible about that? Wouldn't that be a good thing? Lets say the other carriers did open up and let the same companies offer their investment to them, would the tune change? Our company has not suffered by retaining Sprint as the choice for us and we are supporting the new technology to help elevate our communication and data transfer even further. If it can be done sooner than later, that is ...

Sprint still sucks and can't BRING any NEW customers in the

door! because everyone hates them and knows they suck.

until that changes sprint can't succeed. And lets not forget sprint is set two lose TWO MILLION customers this quarter 😳 and they have already lost over 5 MILLION with no signs of slowing down.

Your post makes little sense, I am embarrassed for you. Why would anyone invest in something if they felt it was doomed. obviously they seem some potential. Not saying it will be a guaranteed success, but respected big wigs have given it the green light. Instead of hoping other companies fail, you should want to see other companies succeed, it promotes economic growth and better competition. You should want another company to force your carrier to step their game up, or at least give you another option.

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 all I can do is laugh

WiMax is the Truth! Anyone who doubts will just be left behind in the dust wait for Verizon and At&t to get there act together.

WiMax also has several big I mean big advantages over Lte but I guess people will continue to listen to everyone else's opinion instead of doing there own research. No intellectual debates here just bad mouth the carrier you hate any chance you get and make as little since as possible.

Search for the Truth and you will find it.A good place to start would be www.wimax.com or www.xohm.com and also www.lte.com. It seems just weeks ago at&t was saying that Sprint should not be calling WiMax 4g they should be eating those words now 🤣 and also tried to block ...
