I'm torn - Like the coverage increase, but like TMobile's better

I'm torn -

On the one hand, I'd really like to see this kind of thing because it seems like no matter where I move to I have borderline Verizon coverage. This would be great for that.

On the other hand, conceptually I liked TMobile's version, where you can use any wireless internet connection, better. It's nice to be able to go over to a friends house where coverage is limited and have my phone work 100% there, to.

Yeah, t-mobile's version is pretty sweet. Do you have to put in the info for the router to use the wi-fi or it just automatically picks it up? How many t-mobile phones can actually use this feature?

If it's an unlocked WiFi network the phone will automatically pick it up, otherwise you have to enter in the infomation.
T-Mobile currently offers 6 phones that use the UMA with 3 of them being blackberries. There are two other discontinued phones as well.

I think one of them is the new "Android" (google) OS phone, though...talk about everything I'd like all in one package! 😁

(Well, except that T-Mobile doesn't have coverage in some of the more rural area I end up in from time to time...)
