Alltel Gets Samsung's First U.S. TouchWiz Phone

Yea, im happy for Alltel. This will be a great add to the phones sense they dont have as many, but I really do like there White BlackBerry Pearl they have.

I'm going to be happy to sell this phone. Alltel's lineup is starting to get a lot better. Nowhere near ATT and Verizon but it's getting better

Yea, I guess there trying to get some phones too look good on Verizons Network for when the merge is done.

That's a rumor. The headline even has a question mark at the end. That rumor also says mid-November... how is that Nov 4? 😕

I work for USCC and we are going to recived the Delve on monday nov 3. And start selling it on the 4th. Allso was told by are Samsung rep that USCC is going to be the first to sell Delve and first to use Touchwiz UI for a carrier.

We ( USCC ) could even have it in our stores by the 2nd of november. We've been going through trainings already and are really stoked for this one. Customers are already on waiting lists! 😁 😁 😁

Thanks for the tip that USCC is getting it as well, although I have no way to confirm that; it hasn't been announced or officially confirmed yet. Samsung and Alltel have made an announcement.

You'er right about the announcement. Alltel has the preorder on their website but not a news announment when they are launching it. And Samsung does not have a news announcement on Alltel getting the devle. All over the web USCC is being said that they are getting the Delve in early nov. And I know we are selling it on the 4th nov. Just give it some time. USCC will announce the Samsung Delve on their site.

Where is the link on this text info. I check both Alltel and Samsung. No where to be found. This text said that Alltel is getting the Delve. Not the first to get it and to have touchwiz.

Once again, NO ONE said Alltel was first to get the Delve or first to have TouchWiz.

1. The Delve is Samsung's first TouchWiz phone for the US.

2. Alltel will get it.

That's what the press release says, and that's what our coverage says. No one said "Alltel first" anything.

Samsung sent us the press release directly.

Sorry if Im being agresive about this. You're right on 1 and 2. I'll leave it at that. But, the subjuct should be change to say "Alltel is getting the Samsung Delve on Nov 7th". Not Alltel Gets Samsung's First U.S. TouchWiz Phone. That all I want to say. I think that's fair. Don't you?

True, USCC does not release info on their phones out soon enough. The main reson why they dont. Test their phones alot and make sure it work first before releasing it. Their are times it pisses me off that they take to long to release the info.

Look at the phrase this way....Alltel gets "Samsung's first TouchWiz", not Alltel gets first Samsung phone with TouchWiz. The phrasing is right, you're just slightly off lol

That not what I said. "Alltel gets Samsung first TouchWiz". Dude read what it said. Not "Samsung first TouchWiz". It "Alltel Gets" is the part that is incorrect. Maybe it should say "US Cellular gets Samsung first TouchWiz phone".

Samsung'S (emphasize the 'S) mean it is the first Samsung TouchWiz phone, not that Alltel is the company to first receive it.

Delve is not the first. That whats wrong dude.

Then what phone has been RELEASED in the US that is a TouchWiz phone? And if it has been released, give me a link please, and I will gladly admit that I am wrong.

I know you probably already know this cause you are on Phone Scoop... but USCC is United States Cellular Corporation ( U.S. Cellular ) I t is a large regional carrier with over 6 million customers. The next largest carrier next Alltel. West Coast, midwest, NE, and Central SE
