uhhh...yeah

No exclusivity deal applies to the NYC subway.
Or any agreement for that matter. There is no service down in the NYC subway at all.

YiKes! No cell service for a whole commute around the city! Your phone must go all crazy once your regain signal, recieving txts, voicemails. I don't know what I'd do riding the subway and not being able to hop on a 3G network and surf the net on my phone. Well theres always magazines and newspapers.

That episode is so funny. But I've heard people say before that they are able to use their T-mobile phone. But I haven't been to New York in years so I don't know first hand.

Federal Government doesn't run the NYC subway or any subway for that matter except DC's METRO

Port Authority is to blame for no wireless serive, right?

Gosh, I don't know what I would do commuting w/o internet on my phone!
