Recording industry pressure?

Anyone think that maybe Sprint is getting pressure from the recording industry?

Think about it. You can buy a song from lots of different places online for $.99, but you only get 1 copy of the song. With you Sprint phone, you can get 2 copies; 1 for you phone and one for your computer.

I would bet that Sprint was getting at least some pressure about this because Sprint customers were essentially double dipping when buying a song. We've all seen the recording industry show just how greedy they can be the last several years.

I also think it has to do with lack of use, like with Sprint email going away. I can't think of more than 2 or 3 people that use the music store and no one that uses the Sprint email for anything except ...

Not really, I have to disagree. Verizons V-cast is the same. You get 2 copies. If you purchase it from your PC its .99 if you purchase it from your handset it's $1.99. Either way you get two copies.

Right....but you see how they charge double? Perhaps the music industry caught on to Sprint selling two copies and decided it wants to be compensated twice.

Of course, this is me just speculating.
