who will carry this phone?

Can't be Verizon wireless or Sprint, it's a GSM phone, wrong technology. If I remember correctly AT&T is the best guess, because T-Mobile uses a different 3G band than this one covers.

As usual, they'll launch in Europe first. The stats listed are obviously an EU/Asia phone. NAM uses 850/1900 for 3G. 2100 is EU. Not sure who uses 900, but guessing Asia.

Hopefully they'll create a NAM version some time next year.

Damn it, just last year HTC used to make Tri-Band HSDPA devices, and now they're making regional devices, I hate this crap!!!

The only company I know so far to use 900 is Elisa in Finland. 900 is designated for EU/Asia countries, but thus far, only ONE company in Finland is using it, and HTC decided to make a phone for them, but not for us T-Mo users.

t-mo is using 3g? I had heard they wer going to roll it out, but are they actually using it now?

could be anybody at this point. i would say, with the popularity of the touch, touch diamond and pro, all found on gsm and cdma, that its almost likely that sprint and verizon will offer them. att may have a hand in as well, it may end up in all markets much like the original touch ended up doing
