There are 5000 RadioShack stores, who would you pick to sell more phones? Talk to the owners to cough up more money to have the rights to the phone. Why do you think only BesyBuy had the right in the beginning.

Exactly Right! Best Buy paid for a 60-day exclusivity agreement as the only National Retailer for that duration. After that it is whoever coughs up the cash.

True, and Sprint uses Radio Shack as agents in areas they don't have a corporate store presence. The sales people dress in Sprint Polo shirts on all. This is not a judgment question, but a fact. Similar in the way that Apple and I assume AT&T are allowing iPhone sales in Bestbuy.

HA!!! Thats the biggest hunk of bull$hit I've heard! Don't be so assumptive. Bestbuy got them first, and we know a $hit load more then they do. But I guess your ignorance is your bliss

as NSS, I enjoy Radioshacks policy of only upgrading customers who are ELIGIBLE. Makes life easy on us not having to put up with Indirect reps begging. I can't say the same for the above mentioned store unfortunetly ;)

At our store we only do upgrades if they are ELIGIBLE.

And as an Exclusive INDIRECT Rep, I thankfully have enough tools at my disposal that I almost never have to call NSS and play 20 questions about mine and the customers identities just to get attitude and a transfer or transfers to someone who MIGHT be able to help. the last thing in the world I would do is call NSS to process an upgrade, I'd almost rather shoot myself, and I feel sorry for those that have to go through that. Anyway if Indies called to beg for an upgrade and you agreed to make it happen, you get the credit, not us, so what would be the point?

Actually, NSS doesn't get any "credit" except for a job well done. When we ask for your dealer code and enter it accordingly, that insures your store gets the credit. Your manual contract should get the credit to you personally. If you are not receiving your money, ask your management. It comes later when you use us, but better late eh?

The only transfers should be for FDT questions or help. Anything else in sales support, we should handle.

I am truly sorry about all the "20 questions" that we are required to ask you. It's not that we want to have to ask all that stuff, but we hear about it in several negative ways if we don't do that. It protects the customer from fraud. It is helpful if you have the PIN or security question/answer w...

I wrote a long reply, and lost it all... 👿

While there are varying levels of difference between what does and what should happen with NSS, i'll just leave it at that and thank you very much for recognizing what goes on out on our frontlines.

I think one thing that folks forget is the Radio Shack was the first electronic stores to support Sprint back in the day.

You know, we don't have enough for employees yet. We won't be allowed to get on a waiting list for 2 or 3 more weeks. It's hard to tell when we will actually get them.

The reason all lines of business don't have them is that Samsung just can't manufacture enough to keep up with demand. We will have to bring the chain stores on slowly so that everybody isn't out all the time. It's a bad situation in one way but it's great that so many people want it.

I have seen ONE once and was really impressed.

How many doors does Wireless Toyz have?
We have 4500 doors to sell Sprint Phones.
On another note Please accept my apology for the misguided person on the other thread who seemed to think it important to belittle the employees at the corporate Sprint stores.
