qwest is most likely going nowhere it was the first company to provide landline services. its just like how they have their tv customers optin to get bundle discounts. the internet and landline service is what their best known for along with their customer service. and that my friend is not going no where in my point of view.

No announcements of the Verizon mother ship buying Qwest, major regulatory hurdles to over come, this is all about great opportunities for growth with both companies.

exactly! qwest have just released 12 and 20mb of speed for their broadband. unlike other companies qwest provides a dedicated line. of course its growth for both companies but as far as qwest being bought out. it wont happen in my view
