oh that is not real world speeds. Just like HSDPA phones don't get the 3.6mbps that they are capable of.

Supposedly AT&T is upping the data to 7.2 later this year, I wonder how that will effect current 3.6 phones real world capabilitpies, advertised speeds mean absolutly nothing!

I might be willing to pay AT&T $60/mo when 7.2mbps HSDPA/HSUPA aircards come out, give me a speed that's actually WORTH paying $60/mo for.

true real world speeds are more like 2.6- 2.9
(tested using a mogul and a usb aircard)

It doesn't matter how fast of speeds you have. You can't do data and voice together which is the beauty of 3g.

And secondly, even if simultaneous data and voice were possible with evdo, the speeds were 100mb down, it wouldn't matter because all sprint phones suck.

In fact, all carrier phones suck, but with gsm I can use any phone I want. I can also use voice or data any time I want. Gsm sure is nice.

And an equal measure of pity that one has to endure Sprint to get it.

Actually they call it PowerVision now. They are still losing customers (and revenue) left and right while T-Mobile (VZW and at&t) are gaining. Do whatever you have to do to make yourself feel better. I guess that includes coming into T-Mobile related threads and boasting about a bunch of nothing. Troll.

I think it is great that Tmobile has a 3g network now 😁

I am sure you think it is great. My feelings are not hurt. I am quite happy using the carrier I choose. You only assume I use T-Mobile. Arguing with me will do you little good. As a moderator at SprintUsers.com for over 5 years now, I know more about Sprint than you ever will. Enjoy your bashing.

Umm...dude....Vision is not the DO.

Yes Sprint is a little bit more advanced on the data side. But, Sprint lovers have no room to talk trash about any other carrier.
One year after being bought out, you might have room to talk trash.

Until then.......don't embarrass yourself.

there were actual trolls in the dark ages? and they had cell phones? wow that's a pretty amazing discovery.

"An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an on line community, such as an on line discussion forum, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion"

that is a exact definition of you.

Whether T-Mobile sucks or not, which it doesn't, certainly does not change the fact that you're a tiny, little internet troll and obviously a fanboy of some carrier out there not to mention the fact that NO ONE cares about the opinion of someone like you.

big phone
power hungry (1200mA/h offers an hour of talking)
very expensive (forget about unlimited data)
now 3G is very affordable broadband alternative
