Open network???? Please.

I don't get this. "Let's introduce an open network policy!" Ummm...it's called switching the SIM out to any GSM phone. You can do it without their help, or approval. It's not like Verizon, which has uber control over what phones work.

It's corporations using "buzzwords" like this that makes me sick. ATT has had a pretty open network, if you ask me, for a LONG time.

So true, just like all GSM phones. Of course those words are directed for those less fortunate and lacking in knowledge or more sense. 🙄 🙄

sad thing is A LOT of people falls for this stuff.

just look Verizon. people are falling for it left and right.

it's sad people don't fully understand the logistics of how GSM really works.

No one at verizon is "falling" for it. Its a big deal on verizon. And verizon was the first CDMA carrier to become pretty proactive about having an open policy. I think its more of a joke that att is now advertising it...once again copying verizon--eventhough they pretty much have an open phone policy now

the only useful thing with this would be help setting up the config. for MMS messaging (picture messaging).
