I heard that OnStar and ADT would be affected...

I heard that OnStar and ADT alarm systems would be affected by this as some of their services still used the AMPS technology but I'm sure they've taken measures to avoid issues. They have enough time after all.

I believe [analog] OnStar customers are SOL here. Service is going away and they cannot upgrade ☹️

Blame GM, not the carriers, it wasn't like they weren't given YEARS notice.

Some alarm systems run on an old analog phone built into the system. When the alarm is triggered the old analog phone calls for help.

Kinda rediculous how the problems have the fixes. Such as alot of the carphones.. I've had an ear-full for the past 2 months about the car phones discontinuing to work come feb.
