i think the real question is > how long before the us market actually implements this? its like everyone is scared to go higher then a 2 or 3 mega pixel camera on a phone here. just a thought.... 🤨

I agree in Europe there are a lot of phone that have higer M Pixels than just 2. I remember a phone called the excute or something like that looked just like an Nokia N93 but had a 6 Megapixel Camera on it and could also take video. I try to get most of my phones from overseas from Nokia anyway. The higher megapixels are out there you just have to find them.

As Far as the US adopting them you are right that will take a while before we see anything on that. Is does seem that we are the last to ever see anything new.

it's not that we're last to see them for no reason.. what's the 1st thing a consumer asks when they walk into a mobile phone store ready to either sign up for new service or renewing their contract.. hrmm... which phone is FREE! The European/Asian markets are willing to pay top dollar for top models, we simply.. just aren't unfortunately therefore mobile operators supply by demand (cheap/entry level handsets for the majority of their inventory).
