I agree i live in sandusky ohio home to cedar point americas roller coast. Where we get millions of people here every year and do we get 3g of course not, but oak harbor little hole of a town with like 300 people has 3g i mean who makes these decisions?????

It's pretty trivial to upgrade HSDPA to HSUPA - it's just a software change.

That's why they're switching to UPA mid-stream. It doesn't slow anything else down, so they might as well.

Upgrading GPRS/EDGE to HSDPA/HSUPA takes a little more effort.

Amen brother. 3G, 4G, hell, might as well be 18G. Half the country still lives in an Edge only world, and that includes an alarming number of major metropolitan areas. It's really great to go to an AT&T corp. store in my area and see all the great gadgets and toys that can't be used in my area. Thanks for teasing us man!
