Helio is really impressing me...

Sure, they don't have a LOT of phones in their line up, but the ones they do have are packed with features, and for the most part exclusive. I was too scared to make the jump when my Sprint contract ended in early 2007, but in early 2009, if Helio is still around, I'll give them a whirl. I just get freaked when I see what happened to ESPN Mobile and Amp'd.

I agree,. . . I understand what your saying, but you know what, I think that if an MVNO can survive for more than 2yrs, than I wouldn't worry about it.

But with reguards to this Fin phone, I'm kinda surprised that there is a 3mp cameraphone w/o autofocus!!! To me, autofocus is super important!!!

But considering Sky Dayton is behind Helio, and SK Telekom, I'm not one bit suruprised that Helio is putting out impressive handsets, I especially like the 100mb's built-in!

I live in Las Vegas, the southeast part of town, I don't know if you've ever been here before, but near Sam's Town, and Boulder Hwy, for whatever reason seems to attract a lot of low-class people, and anyway, I'm also a bus rider, and I notice a whole heck of a lot of people on Boulder Hwy that have Virgin Mobile phones, I betcha they have bad credit.

Anyway, when comparing Virgin Mobile to Helio, Helio is King!!! And I do believe Helio will be around 2yrs from now, not positive though, but I do believe.

Helio is the best MVNO! My friend has it and LOVES it. It sells like crazy in different markets. Some markets are just finding out about it, and when they do, they want it. Go check them out at a Wireless Toyz store near you. www.Wirelesstoyz.com

I definetly agree, Helio is the best MVNO. I live in Las Vegas, I'm familiar with Wireless Toyz, cool job I bet, I haven't been in there yet. I'm just waiting, and waiting, and waiting for something to come out on AT&T that really impresses me.

I knew way back before Helio launched that they would be interesting because of Sky Dayton's involvement and SK Telekom.

I read an article about Sky Dayton and his wife making a trip to I think Hong Kong, and he noticed the teenagers were break dancing to music on they're phones, and he referred to the U.S. as a 3rd world country when it comes to cell phones.

I think things have just STARTED to be better here in the U.S. just in the 2nd half of this year, on into the beginning of next year.
