Lots of people would pay a grip for a good looking phone that has crap reception, not me, but lets be real. There are quite a few phones better then the RAZR, but what sells? RAZRs.

As for this particular phone, I think it's about time developers stopped tip-toeing around Linux. I've seen buggy RAZRs give a girlfriend enough problems to warrant Cingular giving her 4 replacements.

Linux phones have been around for years. Motorola launched the A760 4 years ago. Ming A1200 from Moto is pretty hot now.

I'm careful with my phone and I baby it. I also bought it with the full realization/understanding that I won't get any support in regards to it from my service provider, I'm not one of those obnoxious customers who feels like I'm owed everything. 🙂
It's under warranty, I'd just have to ship it half an ocean away from where I live.

Or what you could do is buy an Insurance policy for it that will cost you less than half of what you paid for the "MING" it has no deductible and you get a brand new phone.

oddly enough i think this is the new trend.
i cant tell you how many nokia's are ugly but ar the top performers and offer so much features.
not only are phones getting uglier but they have that retro-ugly behing them. this phone remindes me of nick at nite black and white tv.
