Dell will be releasing laptops sometime early next year with a slot for SIM cards built in if I remember correctly.

While GSM is still waiting for built in cards, three laptop manufacturers have been installing built in aircards on laptops for the last 8-9 months for use on VZW's already operating Broadband access network.
The new aircards are for peeps that didn't want to pay the manufacturer to pre-install a card or that bought their laptop from the bargain bin.
