👀 Ok Rev. A is good but if SprintNextel wants to make a statement they should drop the ED-DO and just go to ED-DV. It will reduce the amout of network lag time as well as develop the VoIP for them. With the co-branding they are going to roll out with Comcast, Time Warner, and more the ED-DV would be the best fit for the @home DVR from your wireless and more mobile content. Well that's my two cents.

EV-DV is no longer an option. Qualcomm dropped it's development because carriers were favoring EV-DO Rev. A over EV-DV. The reason? EV-DO Rev. A is just as capable (if not moreso) than EV-DV.

All of the things that you mentioned will be capable of being done with Rev. A.

EV-DV is a moot point.

plus EV-DV is technically inferior to EV-DO because it had to retain backwards compatibility with CDMA 1xRTT
