Sprint Gets Cozy With Motorola
this is what ive been whating for
last week:
im mad, sprint pcs dosen't have cool phones like cingy, t-moby, and verizon...e. i think its time for a change, and yes i know what your going to say, " sprint is a buisness provider""it doesn't have a cma or gsm of jdfviehv, i don't know im not a phone expert, anyway i'm just here to say why can't sprint just get it's head in the game, you no? ..

Hmmm. Asides from the RAZR (maybe) I think VZW is below SPCS in handset selection... Just an opinion.

No way.. there is only about 4 phones i can think of from sprint that are cool that nobody eles has..

two or three years ago they were ahead of the game by having the first camera phone in america and having phones with the vision network which was ok but still it was good because it was doing more than the other companies. but now its starting to get behind in the cell phone game

Yes, Sprint did have the best phones four years ago and now they are coming back again! I have the new Fusic , and love the FM Transmitter. Does choc have that? Sprint did have the first US camera Phone and coming soon they will be the first US carrier to Launch a Phone made for TV , The samsung SPH-M250 coming this fall. They just need better marketing, to market to all segments of the population. They also need to lower the prices of the music store downloads, they did come out with today; buy 2 get one free, so that is a step in the right direction. SO, all and all I would say Sprint is on the right path now. The moto's will just be a a nice addition to there line up. I can't wait to get the TV Phone myself and for them to get the EV-...

eh, adding cooler MOTO phones to their line up will boost their sales slightly; or massively, i'm sure. but i always thought Sprint to have the best phones on the market by keeping it innovative. but they do bring out some phones that make me wonder "What were you thinking??". I guess MOTO will saturate Sprint's line up now 😎

Less than a year ago most VZW customers were complaining that Verizon's phone selection was very poor... no Bluetooth... boring phones with boring features. You must admit that VZW has stepped up to the plate over the past 8 or 9 months. I am a loyal and die hard Sprint believer, but I will give credit where credit is due.
Sprint had the cutting edge phones and slipped. Getting the MOTO's will be a step in the right direction and will hopefully inspire them to get back into the swing of always having cool phones.

Don't see this happening any time soon. Sanyo handsets are Sprint exclusives and is one of the major things that separates Sprint from other carriers. There was a time that if you walked into a Sprint store, every single employee there had a Sanyo phone because they knew that those handsets worked the best. They (Sanyo) seem to have allowed competition to catch up some, but I don't see Sprint cutting back on product.
Samsung, on the other hand, is probably in bed with Sprint for life. The two companies owe one another for whatever measure of success they've achieved in the US.
