Yeah just like Motorola and Cingular made their phone thinner (Razr) and removed the flash from the camera.. slapped the SLOWEST UI IN THE HISTORY OF CELL PHONES.. YES EVEN SLOWER THAN THE BRICK PHONES OF THE 80's

charged nearly $400 for it when it first came out.. and everyone now has a Razr..

I have an E815 (no problems as of yet - I dont use OBEX but I do use the USB cable and 15$ Vcast a month for EVDO with my Laptop) General Speeds when tested are 300-800 (at night as high as 1300)

I personally like LG phones.. Don't like the new Verizon UI but Parents LOVE IT! They can pick any phone up and not have to "relearn" the menus. I don't think the 8400 is the hottest but if it's cheap (under 100$ with 1 year) then I think its a dec...

Check Yourself,

As a store manager for 6years, I can say the RAZR is fine!! New s/w corrected the slow menu, It is the same thickness as GSM razrs, when you see the SPECS that is including the Camera on the VZW razr, which is raised as opposed to flush on the GSM razr, Better camera. (not that it makes a difference), Its a great phone.

This LG looks fine, VZW customers just want solid phones, and this will be fine.

If you have to have the memory slot, just buy the 8300. Everyone has different needs, that is why all phones have different options.

Did I miss the memo? When did Verizon buy LG? You can't blame Verizon for this phone, Blame LG.

Carriers work together with handset makers to cater a handset to the carriers needs, NOT the customers needs, such as crippling BT! ! !

Yknow, I just have to stop and comment. The article states that this is a "trimmed down" variation of another model. How is this a step backwards? Honestly how many cell phone users own a memory card anyway? If you are someone who does, buy a different phone. Also the article says Verizon is the "intended" carrier. How do you conclude that Verizon is the source of this design?
What I want to stress is that of the millions cell phone owners, many/most just want a phone that works, at a good price. More bells and whistles = more $$. Get a clue before you say something that makes you look stupid. 😉

Most people who frequent phonescoop and other similar sites are "Gadget Geeks" and therefore despise mobile phones that look like they're 3-5yrs old! ! ! !
I haven't been under contract for over 6mo.'s because nothing on the U.S. market appeals to me.
So I resorted to an overseas handset the
Sharp V903.

People who visit sites like this one are very, very dissapointed in mobile phones like THIS ONE! ! !

First of all its for Verizon because the LG VX series is for verizon only. And whats the poinh of having a vcast phone without a memory card. It doesnt make much sense. Other phones dont need memory cards because the internal memory is plenty for phone books and and etc!!

So were going to act like Army is a bright individual, I have been reading these forums for sometime now. I find there are lots of good information regarding phones and actually my company suggests this site for people to view to get needed info regarding different phones and products. Why are so many people so ignorant to the fact that VERIZON does not produce, manufacturer or for that matter have anything to do with products that work on there system. After the companies (LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung) come up there product, Verizon may say hey that feature isnt going to fly with us, but as far as the color, the form factor, most features Verizon has nothing to do with. So gain a little knowledge before you go and bash things you no nothing...

Just thought I would post the response I received from ARMY regarding my post about Verizon, I think this about sums the situation up.And I quote....

"I dont know what the **** you are talking about, or who the **** you think you are talking to! but im sure im dead right whatever i said...o did i mention to go **** yourself, thank you have a nice day ass head..llolol"

If I was a mod on his site, I would sure think this would be reason to ban someone, but thats just me.
