RAZRs Slowly Return To Retail

How does it prove that verizon's phones aren't defective when you tell me that you know some verizon phones that are defective?

So one phone that may have had problems not because of a defect but because the user was doing something wrong means that Motorola makes bad Verizon phones?

Even if you see one that is defective, that doesn't nessisarily mean all are defective.

I have used 4 different manufacturers on VZW, and the Motorolas I have had have been the best. Samsung is second; Kyocera third, Nokia a dead last.

which still leads us to:
verizon + motorola = defective phones

maybe not ALL verizon motorolas are defective, but there's still a high percentage, and that's coming from verizon's own reps.

Your all a bunch of FOOLS. The defective razr was for Cingular and T-Mobile you idiots. Why dont you read more before posting stupid comments.

The GSM Razr is defective. The Verizon V3c is NOT defective.

I had the V3c since the first day it came out and had not one problem to this day.

You all know Verizon's network can't be beat. You all know they will soon be the largest company in the cell phone industry soon. So no matter what you say to bash them, they will soon be number 1 because smart customers like myself know that it's all about the network. Verizon provides RELIABLE service which cingular and tmobile can only dream about having.

Actually, I think it can. I have Cingular and I've never had issues with my coverage, even in the middle of a hurricane. I also question Verizon's network, simply because of their coverage map. Their map said they had coverage in West Virginia, whereas Cingular told me they had NO coverage in WV. Yet when I went, my phone had signal everywhere I went and my friend's Verizon phone had no signal, with the exception of a few miles of highway.

well, i had motorola phone, gsm and cdma, and they all have problems. is just the company quality issues. whoever saiys blah blah about verizon, well, gsm is the way to go, 2.x billion people are not wrong. another thing, have you heard how well the sound on the cdma phone is in comparison with the gsm? battery life?

I think Verizon has better reception because most of their phones are bricks. They've got so much antenna jammed up in their, they can't help but pick up a stronger signal. The RAZR was the first phone they had that approached decent, and even the Verizon version of the RAZR is thicker than the GSM version (albeit only by 1 mm). All the innovation in cell phones these days is on the GSM side---whether or not Joe Six-Pack, aka the American Public, cares is quite another story. Personally, I wished I lived in Korea or Japan--now they have some great looking and functional phones.

I sell us cellular and I thought all of our motorolas sucked because they didnt like us enough to care. Now I know they dont like anyone.

Wait. Motorola makes poor phones 'cause they don't "like" US Cellular? I assure you, it has nothing to do with that.

For clarification: The RAZR's that were effected are GSM ONLY! (T-MOBILE, CINGULAR) NOT CDMA (VERIZON). 😁
