total ripoff, unless you want to keep up with the latest Terrell Owens antics, steroid news or all of the other stupid acts of our overpriced, overpaid athletes!

I know I'm not the only who has noticed this, but ESPN is a 24hr soap opera for males. I admit this being someone who watches PTI, Jim Rome, and Around the Horn when I'm not at work (can't afford TiVO right now). So I know if I could afford it, I would definitely be subscribing to this.

I just think it's dissapointing that ESPN partnered with Sprint! ! ! I'm not all that big a fan of Sprint plus I'm sick of seeing these 450min plans, absolute minimum of 600.
I'm w/Cingular, and I don't hesitate to use my phone during the daytime. Plus, I think $400 w/rebate, just too, too much. Heck, $400 is touching smartphone pricing range! ! !

Partnering with Sprint was smart for one big reason: EVDO. ESPN will be able to stream a ton of content over this tech.

So why not partner with VZW and get EVDO in more areas reaching a larger market in a quicker time period?

Are you kidding me? There are plenty of people with plenty of $$ to spend on somthing like this. I bet that 2 out of the 3 of you all have camera phones. With that I bet you use the internet on your phone too. Lets be serious now, these are all added features that are not necissary, but are still nice to have. For all of the sports nuts out there this is going to be your phone.

i think it is funny all of the tecno geeks in this forum who are compleatly clueless when it comes to every one else.

there is a huge market for this stuff. Who knows in the not too distant future you may even be able to watch live sporting events on your phone... that is not to far off. you can already get live radio brodcasting of live sporting events on your sprint phone and trust me the audio is 100 times better then am radio that you typically are forced to endure. espn is going to charge more then any one else for there mobile service and plenty of people will pay for it. think of it there are thousands and thousands of sports fanatic that dedicate there whole life to there fav sport. if you don't think there is a market out for th...

Why is it that you come on here, copy and paste what other people have to say, then bash them for it. They are putting there level of knowledge of a product on here for others to review, not to be bashed by some schmuck who thinks that he knows ALL in the wireless industry. Stick to putting reviews instead of reviewing others words and giving them crap for it. As for my post, just because you find this service useless doesnt mean others will. There are plenty of people that would love to be able to have access to somthing like this. Oh and if i have spelled anything wrong in here im sorry... Never realized that phone scoop was a spelling B.

The service is amazing. If it doesn't apply to you then go find something else. If you're a sports fan there is NOTHING like this service. The Samsung phones (MVP and ACE) are ok, they do the job well... do they have all the bells & whistles? - heck no. It's the service, and ESPN is the only company that could pull off a package like this. Scores, highlights, alerts, stats - all the stuff I personally want as a fan. I have one, my wife has one and so does my son - and we all love it. Everyone can be a hater for all I care, but this Mobile ESPN service is a dream for a sports fan. If you have any questions about it, go ahead and email me directly: brett.e.stewart@espn.com and I'll even get you a VIP discount if you're interested. 😁
