Imagine having a BB with the ability to load Android as an option. Kind of like a dual boot thing...or give the users freedom of choice to either stick with the BB OS or switch over to Android?
It can't hurt. What's the worse that can happen to this sinking ship?

you get people that think they know what theyredoing and completel destroy the phone and give it a bad review that everyone sees and goes off of and makes hat so called "sinking ship" sink even faster

Phones do not have enough RAM or hard drive space to make dual booting practical.

Smartphones are currently shipping with 64 GB of storage space and next generation devices (what blackberry should be designing now) will have substantially more. Only a small fraction of that is even necessary to load a modern desktop OS like Windows 8. But the footprint of OS's like Android is much smaller.
Furthermore, RAM is the memory required for whatever is currently running, not the entire OS. And since both OS's wouldn't even be running at the same time, it's not even a consideration. If you have the RAM to run either OS you have the RAM to dual boot them, plain and simple.
