I think they would be far better off holding off on PTT for a short time. They should focus their efforts right now on the network integration. They will only bring more heat down on themselves when someone signs up and thinks they are getting a solid voice service much less a solid ptt service. Cingular doesn't even have cs agents prepared to deal with problems customers are having with voice.

With 50 million customers & rising, you can't please everybody, all the time. I've had AT&T GSM and recently migrated to Cingular GSM and I have the best service EVER! As far as network integration, you must still be on AT&T's oldest network, TDMA. Try upgrading. 😎

If this were a hardware upgrade, I might agree with you. Kodiak is a software solution so won't be a huge undertaking to get going. It uses existing gsm voice. At max, there will only be about a million PTT handsets on the entire network during the first year. I think Cingular can handle this one.
