Just my paranoid opinion. Looks like they're prepping users for video ads. I know a lot of people are annoyed by this feature already. But like anything Facebook, they'll soon forget, quit bitching, and get used to it. It won't be a big deal once they roll out the video ads, especially if they don't have sound either. Very sneaky. It seems the rumors are about to become true. Get adblockers now if you already don't.

Everybody should stop using these stupid sites like facebook, twitter, google, anything that has started revving up the marketing machine too hard.
They would be replaced by more socially responsible companies (practically) tomorrow. It's not hard to re-make these sites and services, and they deserve to lose their empires.
