What where's all the hating trolls?
When Sprint entered into a similar deal to lease their towers the trolls claimed it as the end of the company. Yet AT&T does the same and you can hear the damn crickets lol.

Its too easy to hate ATT. Not worth the effort.

True, but unfortunately consumers are brainwashed into ATT & Verizon, nobody wants to give Tmo a try, I've been with Tmo for almost 6mo's, solid network good signal in both New Haven & Fairfield Counties in Ct. I even have 3-4 bars LTE in my room where I live.

T Mobile's okay if you have coverage.....but I don't....and neither does a significant portion of the country. The truth is the only carriers with truly national coverage are at&t and Verizon.

That's only true if you're only counting native coverage, which we both know nobody does because the coverage maps don't only show native coverage. I live in northern Maine, and travel all over the northeast for work. I can say hands down my coverage with Tmo isn't any better or worse than when I had AT&T. Only slightly worse than when I had Verizon, and mostly just on the data side.

It's true thart you can get roaming coverage in a lot of places, but if you're spending all or most majority of your time roaming on other networks, you're likely to be cut off anyway because it isn't cost efficient to keep you as a customer.I know when I worked for at&t I used to have to inform people that because they were living in an area with no at&t coverage we would have to cancel their service.

That is because Sprint has been in serious financial trouble for years, and at&t is doing fine. So the context is completely different.

its also significant that Sprint sold off their entire cellular networkand then leased back space. It did not turn out to be a good move and Sprint would most likely handle it differenlty today.
AT&T' sale is a very small portion of towers, but I don't like the move at all and it could.be seen as a very bad move in hind sight.
