I think that for people who have to be 'connected' all the time to the internet that this will be really usefull for. Really neat.

What else can it do? 😲

Instant messaging. Using any IM program. AIM, Fire, Yahoo Chat, etc.

VoIP and/or Wi-Fi phones. Which means free phone calls. Free. No phone bills what-so-ever. As free as the wind. And that is pretty free.

I do not know about you but talking on a cell phone for any length of time... even 24/7 and only getting charged... nothing is a pretty big deal.

Also sense it does the web... how about downloading music... and even movies.

So it may only do the net.... but the net is a pretty big place.

I didn't say it was. What i meant was to use Voip you would have to pay the wifi charges for using a hot spot or the monthly service from your boradband provider. Even if you decided to use voip with your cell phone's bluetooth you would still pay the data charges.

that's what they tried to do with the ppc-6600 by taking out the wifi. so what did we do? add an sdio card with wi-fi. so as long as we are in our house or a hotel with wi-fi. all calls go to a 20 dollar a month vonage account. wich just so happens to service my home phone as well for that price.
