This guy has to go go. He single-handedly bankcrupt the largest cell manufacturer. Its clear to everyone in the industry that Elop's loyalties are with his old masters-- microsoft. He has done everything in this power as CEO to ensure that nokia has no other option but to rely on an immature OS thats 2 years behind android and 3 years behind iOS.. Elop doesn't care about nokia at all, he just wants to make sure that Windows platforms has a springboard. I mean what sane CEO would stake all his bets on one platform which has a poor sales history ? HTC and Samsung were very happy to have both Android and Windows in their line up. Why did Elop decide that windows alone was the only path, when nokia could have easily coproduced windows and androi...

guess he thought it's better to avoid android and then not have to worry about apple smacking them down with stupid lawsuits like samsung and htc are having to deal with. 🤣

Some could argue that, if you're speaking solely on apps. As for the OS itself, its not that far behind either one. A lot of features WP have were built into the OS, as opposed to having to download an app for everything and there're some features done quite well. Its not perfect and its not for everyone. Besides, Motorola did the same, before Google decided to by them. Considering the idea that WP is new compared to Android and iOS, Nokia has done fairly well. I think that will only increase this year into next, with the release of WP8 and Windows 8 tablets.

On the contrary, all the damage was done long before he got there....the worst he can possibly be faulted for is not turning the company around quickly enough, not for tanking it in the first place...
