Soon Verizon will take over everything! 😈

Soon you will have to go through G.I.N. just to buy food and toilet paper. 😛

Personally, I hope VZW takes Sprint and Nextel. That would be awesome. 😎

Eh, all this merger crap is crushing individuality. I miss ATTWS.

if VZW takes sprint and nextel, the northamerican CDMA market will grow up a lot and would benefit us(the customers) because they would be able to bring modern cell phones with bluetooth,built-in camera, and the prices will be the lowest.

Or there's the flipside ... VZW would mostly have a CDMA monopoly at that point and have more than enough breathing room that they'll get complacent (again) and not be too competitive. Thus, hurting the customer in the end.

maybe they could have a CDMA monopoly although there is still (Alltell, US cellular, Virgin Mobile, and Metro PCS) but they would have cingular as it's mayor competitor so they would have to invest in their CDMA network.

While I'm a Verizon customer and would love to be on the nations largest wireless network, I think the SEXTEL merger would be most beneficial to the customer as the increased competition will get Verizon off its butt and get things done the hard way: by offering much better phones and having to improve their own CDMA network instead of just buying another.

by trying to buy another I think they are trying to improve their own network.
With more clients they would be able to offer may advantages to CDMA customers: as new phones and services.
Cingular wants to be the largest company I think they would be a better competitor tu VZW tan "SEXTEL"

I don't think the prices would lower. I mean when u have one company providing this then they can hike the price to whatever they want. I wouldn't mind if after sprint buys Nextel that verizon buys Sprint. I would much rather join with Nextel than Verizon right now. When i speak to people on verizon man they are always statics on the phone. I don't know why.

Of course price would be very low...
Imagine that VZW buy out SPRINT, they together will have 65 millions of suscribers so they will earn more, and they will be able to low their prices in order to compite with CINGULAR.
