We can spell the word know. (By the way the k is silent) So I guess we are one up on you.

Not every RadioShack employee is a pimple faced 18 year old with absolutely no knowledge or experience. We have many 30 and 40 somethings who came over from wireless carriers retail stores or like myself from wireless direct business to business sales.
We do have a lot of things going on at once but our primary focus is on the wireless industry. Many of our stores sell more phones than carrier owned retail stores in a given month. For all of you T-mobile people who are apprehensive about this partnership, don't worry we have done a great job for Sprint and AT&T and will do the same for you. We try to have a working relationship with the corporate ...

the 'no' was intentional.

And why the heck would you leave a carrier store to make minimum wage?
If you are manager, why the heck would you work 60 hours a week for 35k to 60k?
And there is not a single Radio Shack that produces more then a carrier store. Don't kid yourself.

This is going to be bad for everyone. Radio Shack will not sell more. They will simply cannibalize the existing carriers with no net new additions.

Dude

When I worked for RS we constantly out sold the Sprint and VZW store in the Mall. People would come to us since we had the handsets they wanted.

I personaly was selling about 50-80 phones a month. Thats more then some sotores do in a month.

It should be noted RS has been selling T-Mo on their website for months now so this was no suprise.

Its not the sales that bother me. I think having dealers and National retailers sell our equipment at lower costs is great. Especially when we no longer have certain equipment, like the RAZR for instance, still popular AT&T doesn't carry it anymore but wal-mart or radio shack can still get that device for the customer. The only problem is now T-Mobile is another carrier that Radio Shack is going to attempt to do basic customer service for, and thats another carrier whose going to get thousands of calls from customers or even the radio shack employee for crazy things told to them at that location.

Example: "Well I went to the AT&T store in the Radio Shack and that guy told me if I bought two phones and two lines today that ya'll would giv...

Check this, in the AT&T retail stores in Dallas, TX, they have just recieved about 15 razors, pink, silver, black, if you still want razors, these are going for free with 2yr agreement, upgrades, or activations. You can find them in most malls in the DFW area.
