cant wait to get this and sell this... i know all the haters are gunna say LTE this LTE that but remember... the beta isnt always that great at launch and your gunna have to grow through that too... and remember... spectrum coverage vs roaming is gunna be your factor vs. true IP spectrum and is gunna rock.

all the haters below about LTE is lame... and are gunna bash me and still say they are lame but also dont know what there talking about cause thier wireless noobs and base a company on customers vs. technology

What about the ENTIRE country??? Spring doesn't seem to be ambitious! Look how long it took Tmo to launch 3G, and they did it in more than just a FEW cities, 16 cities ALREADY, and more before the end of the year.

What'r up with Sprints ambitions??? Baltimore and MAYBE Chicago "soon". Not much of a "launch".

What are Sprint's planr for the rest of 08, into 09. Anymore cities BEFORE the end of 08? Again, where's the ambitions, show me 35 cities no less by the end of 09.

Well when you get service, do me a favor and go to Cnet's Bandwidth Test website and do a speed test. I don't care about advertised speeds, I only care about real world speeds.

Sprint's "4G" isn't 4G speeds. What are REAL WORD, not advertised speeds, but real world speeds of WiMax? I think I heard 2-4mbps, that's not 4G speeds. HSPA will be faster than that befor LTE is deployed.

Tell me what speed WiMax then?!!!? REAL WORLD, not the lab, not some advertisement, REAL WORLD, since you are the ONE who is all knowing you tell me.

HSPA will be better by the end of 09.

2-4mbps is NOT 4G.

So maybe next month I'll know what sort of speeds WiMax is putting out? Sprint still hasn't announced pricing, and the launch is like only 2 weeks away.

Sprint advertised the avg speeds to be 30Mbps in the streets of Baltimore earlier this year. that doesnt account for network congestion, or where in Bmore, but theres your rough answer. to refresh your memory (assuming you knew and forgot) WiMax does 70Mbps peak and LTE [alleges] 100Mbps peak. Alleges because its not developed, much less deployed anywhere yet.

Well that's definetly a very, very exciting speed. I'd be happy with 6 or 8mbps so long as it's consistent! Do you live in Baltimore?

Bring WiMax to Las Vegas!!!!!
