Anyone else having problems with updating existing apps. They all seem to be geared towards 4.x. I can't update nor add many apps as they are all for 4.x. I've had to delete apps that no longer work or get limited service from those I have updated.

Should I jail break my iPhone?
Hey guys I'm currently in a contract with AT&T with my iPhone. Ive had it for a few months now and I'm thinking about getting it jail broke. I have concerns about what it does to the warranty if i ever have to use it does it completely void it? Also does it mess up anything system wise? I just don't want to do it and have something go wrong with the phone, and because i jail broke it, I'm **** out of luck. Whats your guys take on this?
if something goes wrong, restore it and its back to factory settings and the jailbreak software is no longer there. theres no way to trace it unless you do not restore it and go in there with your jailbroken phone with custom backgrounds and themes.

you got to download teh bios for it... i found some on websites that do jailbreaking, but the ones i found require a subscription... 😕

So, I have a dilemma, I'm in NJ and for the past year I've been using my BB Curve without incident for personal & business. I now have the opportunity to upgrade and was considering the iphone 8g 3G, but I'm concerned about dropping calls and it's e-mail capability.
I love the features but don't want to get something that I may regret. Any feedback from NJ iphone users is greatly appreciated.

SIM not recognized
I purchased a phone on E-bay as a backup. It had been restored and had the USB/Itunes prompt, but no emergency call prompt. I restored it and jailbroke it using RedSnow and unlocked it using UltraSnow. When I put in my SIM from my other 3G Iphone, it wouldn't recognize it. The SIM is valid and is a AT&T 3G SIM card that I use in my other phone every day. I am wondering why the phone won't recognize a SIM card. Should I try restoring again? Any ideas? Thanks

So tell me, what can't you do with the iphone if it is unlocked for T-Mobile service? It sounds like you can't even dowload any 3rd party apps or software for fear that the iphone might lock up again if you unlock it to use on T-Mobile service.

my friend works for t-mobil and has an iphone unlocked and jail broken on it. he can use everything on the phone and download all the apps on it

I work for at&t and I just had a customer walk in with an unlocked iPhone and he was pretty upset b/c he tried updating the the software and it was locked. And I have heared before that you can't get software updates if it's unlocked.

I believe that T-Mobiles' 3G network works on a different frequency than AT&Ts'. Besides T-Mo has terrible 3g coverage.

Can iPhone be used in Russia and USA?
I have and who is living in Russia for the next year but also travels back to the US several times per year. She would love to get the new Iphone but we don't know if that'll work in Russia as well as the US.
Would it be possible for her to have a Sim card she could swap out for use in each country?

iPhone starting to show screen imperfections
Anyone else noticing small imperfections appearing in the outter glass screen cover? My phone is about 6 months old and only recently two small "bubble" inclusion appeared.
Uh... Do you have Apple Care? If so, contact Apple and see what they can do. If not, AT&T won't be able to do much but tell you to call customer care. That is weird though...

What's up my fellow scoopers??? I want to ask does anyone know if the iPhone 3.0 firmware or 3GS will finally have flash player support or some sort of equivalent???? I think it's crazy that the browser is limited.
