And the question we all are asking is...
Does it work on the iPhone?
Don't see any reason why it wouldn't, but Apple is a different beast in so many respects, wouldn't be surprising if they somehow disallowed this as well.
Who cares? Unlocking the iPhone is as simple as downloading ZiPhone software and connecting your iPhone to your PC.

Now will the providers know if the customers are using this? Will it even make it to the U.S.?
I think they will be able to tell when the customers are using it, but I think it will be allowed in the near future.
Pure specualation, of course.
The carrier will know as soon as you take your phone in for any warranty issue (see link below). Once they see that you have "modified" your SIM to work with this device, all bets are off and you will be buying a new SIM. I think this is a great idea ...
