FCC Approves First 3G phone for T-Mobile
For America?
Is this for the US or overseas? Cuase I thought T-Mob wasn't going to get 3G... if it is a Europe exclusive, I'ma have to mave there, if just for the iphone!

They are getting 3G, it just took them awhile since - unlike everyone else - they had to get new spectrum from the FCC to do it. Now they have that spectrum, so they're finally getting ready to roll out 3G.

Hmmm...it's 2007 and we've been hearing about T-Mob 3G for years, I guess I shouldn't doubt them since the @Home DID finally drop! I just figured that the new spectrum would be better used...

For the AWS band, it's 2100 for download & 1700 for upload, or is the other way around? Either way, the frequencies aren't totally in line with Europe, where the frequencies used for their 3G are 2100 for download, & 1900 for upload (1900 is what we use for voice calls in the USA).
