Ugly like Google

Looks the same but the old logo sucked too.

New Logo

Looks like Verizon is in the beginnings of becoming a second rate carrier. They are in the infancy of their fall. Sure, it won't happen right away. It will take a few years....maybe 5 or even less, but Verizon is in their very beginnings of slipping away. All companies do it....IBM, Kmart, Sears, Xerox, Nokia, Motorola, etc. I imagine VZ spent at least $700 grand or even more coming up with this new plain looking logo. Then they paud someone $250 grand to come up with a statement about how the new logo "simplifies and shows they get things done." All corporations do stupid things and they are no exception. Nice knowing ya Verizon.

Rebranding

Maybe they could rebrand their inconsistent, and often rude/incompetent customer service too.

boring

It looks like Verizon checked out when making this logo.
They coordinated with google
I could have done the same thing in MS Paint and not charged them six figures to do so.
Good one!

Block letters and a checkmark. Can the ad agency who designed this be happy with their design? How could they?
It looks too plain! I don't like it!
