bought HTC ONE 5 weeks ago, noticed I'm using over 3gigs of data in one week, I can't figure out where all this data is going. Only in my data usage the internet data is 3.2 gig. Can anyone give my a clue how to figure out whats using the data. I know I don't use this much on my laptop. We bought 2 HTC One's the same day, one of them works fine, the other is a data hog.

If I'm remembering this wrongly, please correct me, but I thought the One wasn't gonna be carrier-restricted (loaded with bloat & delay upon delay of updates) like the One X and literally every other Android phone. Wasn't that one of its selling points? Why is only the Sprint version getting it?
There is a "nexus" variant of the HTC one, that runs a stock version of Android. It receives the updates directly from google as soon as they are available. There's also a nexus version of the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Nice update

I have the HTC One developers edition and got this a bit over a week ago. Good news for you Sprint users, its like getting a new device all over again.

Not by default, but you should look if HTC offers the option to download it directly...

Google: "HTC weather widget apk" and download the apk. Install app installer free (or any other free apk installer app from the play store), run, install ...
