SD card, cover/case
I'm a planner. The Note 3 will fit all of my wants, needs, and requirements for many things pertaining to work and home. That being said, I would like to be ready to roll when I purchase one from T-Mobile. There seems to be little information on which type of SD card to use. The specs say it can take a 64GB SD card, but those seem to be only SDXC cards, whereas the SDHC max out at 32GB. Can the Note 3 take an SDXC card? Or is it moot and I could buy a 32GB SDHC card for less money instead of paying more for a 32GB SDXC where the speeds aren't perceptible?
Also, I usually get a case to protect all my devices (currently using Galaxy S III T-Mo) and wonder if that should even matter with this phone.

The specs on SDHC cards indicate that the max size is 32GB. 64GB would therefore indicate SDXC card capability. That being said you should be good to go either with a 32GB SDHC initially since the SDXC spec is backwards compatible -- meaning that it...

I'm getting myself a new phone soon. But I just don't know which one I'm getting!
I'm in between the Note3, GS4, HTC One and the LG G2.
I like the Note3 features and all, but the dang thing is just too big! The S4 is good, like the Note3 but smaller, but I don't know. The G2 specs are way too cool... but it's an LG. The One is good too, I love BeatsAudio! But as with the G2, the sealed battery and no SD card slot kills it for me. So I'm not quite sure here... âšī¸
Any help will be greatly appreciated! đ

KNOX users beware
I just finished speaking with Samsung and wanted to let everyone know a few things about the Knox security system on the Note 3.
First of all, you cannot undo it once it is enabled. So just know before you enter the Knox waters that once in... you're going to keep it on your phone. No big deal if you use or do not use it though.
Second, it is not possible to cut, copy, or paste any information into or from this software. I was trying to copy or cut some work information from my SD card (from my Galaxy S III) which is now in the SD folder into the Knox folder. Not happening. I'll have to create that folder from scratch if I want it secured within the program.
Third, you cannot use any information contained on your Note 3 in the ...

Old Sammy vs New Sammy
Years ago, I had fallen into the category of being a Samsung hater. I simply hated the build quality and customer support. I had turned my attention to HTC as the all around best product.
Today, I have fallen into the Samsung is awesome category. They have proved that they can manufacture a very thin design while still retaining key features into the lifestyles of many. My galaxy 3 has performed flawlessly and I really enjoy being able to remove the battery to visually inspect it on a monthly basis. I love the removable SD Card and Samsung's live chat with customer service has re-instated my confidence into the company.
I don't need metal hardware and I don't need companies to tell me what I can have or can't have. Samsung has provid...

'Rich Corinthian Leather'
This phone seems inspired by the people who put Bentley grills on cheap Chryslers and throw in the kitchen sink with aftermarket mods and a Wal-Mart special LCD headunits and stick-on wood trim.
That 'corinthian leather' back is particularly offensive. What's a shame is there's a lot of -good- ideas about the Note. I love the memo and stylus. It's a shame they're tacked on to every single bad directive Samsung has to the point where despite Android becoming a rather attractive, coherent OS, not a single screenshot in this review shows matching icons. Yikes.

I've given up on icons. Only Nexus devices have a coherent look in that respect. I'd have to call out every phone, every phone maker for screwing it up.

I'm patiently waiting to purchase it on Verizon. I've had my Samsung Galaxy Nexus since the day it was released, and it has served me very well for nearly two years. However, I have been wanting a more powerful device for quite a while now. My upgrade became available on Aug 15th, 2013, and I cannot wait to own the Note 3! It's the only smart phablet that I'm interested in.
