GSM/WCDMA 850/1900

850/1900 means compatibility with other GSM carriers in the Americas, but hardly makes this a "world phone".
Actually, yes, technically, because those bands are for Latin and South America. And in practice, it's almost certainly a world phone also for Europe and Asia.
