Nokia Announces the 41MP PureView 808
Nokia today announced a new digital imaging phone based on the Symbian Belle platform that boasts a 41-megapixel camera. The camera has new technology that can compress the information from seven megapixels down into one megapixel, which allows for amazing zoom capabilities. The phone also captures 1080p video with surround sound audio. It supports Dolby Digital 5.1 surround and the latest Symbian software from Nokia. It ships later this year.

Qualcomm today announced the Snapdragon 865, its new top-end chipset to power flagship phones in 2020. Unlike most previous Snapdragon chips, the 865 is split into two physical chips: the main processor chip and a separate radio modem chip that includes a 5G modem based on the company's X55 5G modem.
Nokia's new flagship phone has a crazy array of five cameras on the back, which use technology from Light to produce images with impressive quality and unique features. It's also a nice flagship phone in its own right, finally bringing the Nokia brand back to the high end of the market.
